What a Week

When they say that life comes with ups & downs, they are telling no lies. This past week has been a true test of both my patience and mental fortitude, but this week has also showed me a glimpse into what I have dreamt my life to become in the future. This serves as a reminder to myself and others, to keep the faith and your feet on the pavement. No matter what your move, forward is the only progress. Enjoy the pics

Kultura : A Journey for the Commonwealth

Last night, Commonwealth released their newest collaboration sneaker with Asics, the 'Kultura' Gel-Lyte V. Commonwealth has long been a staple in the DMV, having shops in both Norfolk, VA & this one in NW DC, but opening this newest shop in the Philippines, this collaboration served as a celebration to this major accomplishment. Dollhouse

Since the beginning of the modeling industry, the reigns have been controlled by old White men that have never stepped foot out of their beliefs. Weather Wrong, Vibes Right

Big shoutout to Calabash Tea & Tonic on 7th Street NW by Howard Theatre, here in DC. They are not paying me but I have to plug good, quality service and a collective of great vibes whenever I get the chance. The owner and employees are always showing love to their patrons, the patrons as a result are always showing love to each other and their Pandora playlists are ALWAYS on point. With a multi-generational herbalist from the Carribbean being in ownership, they do an amazing job at getting to the root of your energy for the day and prescribing an amazing tonic mixture that will get you recentered every time. I always host meetings and bring people by to experience just because spreading love is the most important law of nature, the one that we always forget. So when I get the chance to do so, even for free, I try my best. Stop by there, try a samosa or Vegan BLT along with an amazing tonic shot or hot cup of tea.
